Recommended Team Loadouts
Soloing Nightmare mode requires tight coordination between economy generation, crowd-slowing control, and sustained high-burst AoE DPS. Choose between the meta standard or F2P setup:
F2P / Budget Loadout
REQUIRES TIMING- TV Spider: Primary splash carry along track corners.
- Chaos Cameraman / Upgraded Videotapper: Main single-target DPS.
- Scientist Cameraman: Foundational cash engine.
- Camera Repair Drone: Anti-stun protection.
- Ninja Cameraman: Low-cost early placement.
Map Selection: Desert Strategy
Always select the Desert Map for your solo attempts. Desert features two wide concentric loops that allow single ranged titans (such as UTCM or Cinemaman) to target toilets across multiple track passes, effectively doubling your effective DPS per placement.
Phase 1: Waves 1–15 Economy Initialization
The greatest pitfall for solo players is greedily placing too many farms and leaking fast toilets on wave 4.
- Wave 1: Place one Pumpkin Farmer or Scientist Cameraman near the back spawn.
- Wave 2–3: Drop a single Ninja Cameraman at the first corner. Upgrade it to Level 2. Do not upgrade to max yet.
- Wave 4–10: Alternate between adding 2 more cash farms and bringing your Ninja to Level 3. This easily handles fast toilets without leaking HP.
- Wave 11–15: Max out your economy farms to secure at least $3,500+ income per completed wave.
Phase 2: Waves 16–40 Transition to Heavy Carries
Armored mutant toilets begin spawning in rapid succession. Raw melee damage begins falling off.
- Deploy Glitch Cameraman: Place near the central choke by wave 20. Glitch slows rapid sprinters, clumping them together for AoE hits.
- Drop Heavy AoE (Cinemaman / UTCM): Position your main titan in the horseshoe center. Upgrade incrementally (bring 2 units to Tier 4 rather than dumping all cash into 1 max unit).
- Add Camera Repair Drone: Place near your core DPS units to instantly cleanse stun flashes from mutant toilets.
Phase 3: Waves 41–50 & The Nightmare Boss
Leaving auto-skip on after wave 45 will cause the final boss to spawn while heavy wave 48/49 elite toilets are still on the track. Turn auto-skip OFF so your titans can clear the lane before the boss arrives.
Recent updates boosted the final Nightmare Boss's health pool by approximately +20%. To counter this:
- Ensure your Glitch Cameraman is maxed out to sustain permanent 40% movement speed reduction on the boss.
- Focus all remaining cash into max-upgrading your central Titans (Upgraded Titan Cameraman / TV Spider / Executioner TV Man).
- If the boss enters the final third of the track, sell your front-line Ninja Cameramen and immediately re-place secondary DPS near the exit gate.
Common Mistakes That Ruin Solo Runs
❌ Over-Farming Early
Spending all starter cash on farms and leaking wave 3 fast sprinters ends runs before they begin.
❌ Skipping Glitch Slows
Relying purely on raw un-slowed damage against the buffed boss allows it to walk through your kill-box.
❌ Leaving Auto-Skip On
Stacking wave 46 and 48 spawns together overwhelms single-target targeting systems.
